The Investment Process

The foundation of our investment process is the establishment of a well constructed investment portfolio designed to create investment performance over the long term, whilst recognizing the associated risks of investing. The portfolio should be robust enough to reduce capital erosion during periods when investment markets are falling and achieve returns above that of cash or inflation when markets are doing well.

The advice process at IFPC Ltd is designed to discuss your attitude to risk and agree upon the various parameters for the design of your portfolio. Once this has been agreed, we then work within the agreed mandate making investment decisions in our client’s best interest. We offer an annual review to all of our investment clients which give them the opportunity to ask questions about the investment strategy and to make any important adjustments to the plan.

The investment managers at IFPC are professionally qualified and regulated to research investment opportunities, construct portfolios, deal in regulated securities and determine investment strategies for our clients. However, we work in partnership with large financial institutions to provide those aspects of the service that enhance the safe custodianship of our client’s assets. These include the nominee services, establishment and administration of bank accounts, account management and the provision of investment management technology. These core functions are representative of a good investment department but are labour intensive. IFPC Ltd has chosen to outsource these resources for maximum efficiency and security.
